Feeding Black Soldier Fly To Your Reptiles

Posted by Spencer Doepel on

When feeding black solider flys to your reptiles make sure to rinse the larva with warm water. This ensures they dump anything not digested out of these stomaches before you feed it to your reptile. You do not feed them to keep them alive. If you are planning on feeding within a 2 week timeframe you can leave them in the container with the lid closed. They can be stored at temperature between

(50 to 55 F) with a closed lid for durations for longer than 2 weeks. When taking them out after 2 weeks let them dethaw for 10 minutes before feeding.
